There are several rumours online that Jericho has been saved. Obviously, we are all hoping this is true, but nothing is confirmed yet … so we shouldn’t stop the fight to save it.
Update: the latimes.com blog has a short interview with Carol Barbee and it seems to indicate that Jericho is back for at least 8 episodes.
“The idea would not be to bring it for eight and out, but to bring it back for eight with the hope that it would keep going,” Barbee said. “They’re making deals with the actors and there’s other logistical stuff to work out too. ‘Swingtown’ [a new drama] was supposed to take over the same stages so it’s a lot about the logistics of how to work out a schedule that works for all of us.”

A big discussion is going on at Jericho Rally point in this thread and at the time of writing the following quotes from the CBS message board and blog posts are contributing to the rumour (some blogs are repeating what another has written):

I asked her if the rumors were true regarding Jericho being renewed. She said she could not comment on that.
She said CBS would be issuing a statement shortly regarding Jericho. She said sometime this week, but probably not today.
It sounded like a decision has been made. If the rumors are true, it should be a favorable decision.
Until we hear officially from CBS - keep fighting!!
Don’t forget - it’s still NUTS to CBS! Keep fighting the good fight until not only the battle but the war is won!
