Google Pack Updated

Google’s desktop software set, Google Pack, has been updated to be even more useful. It now includes Norton Security Scan which provides basic but adequate protection, especially when combined with Spyware Doctor (which protects against spyware and adware). Yes - I am a Linux user but I also have a laptop running Windows XP Home and a girlfriend, so some protection is definitely required.

Google Pack has become pretty extensive and perhaps an essential collection of software to install for any PC user now; it saves time by bringing together many great pieces of software. The software included is now:
  • Google Earth - travel anywhere in the world without leaving your PC! Packed full of information about whichever destination you choose.
  • Norton Security Scan - keep yourself protect from virus.
  • Google Desktop - search your files and emails even more easily than ever with the power of Google through desktop search
  • Firefox with Google Toolbar or Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer if you’re a Microsoft IE user.
  • Adobe Reader - the standard for electronic documents, forms and books.
  • Skype - Free calls to other users and cheap calls to anywhere in the world!
  • StarOffice - the power and compatibility to of Microsoft Office but with a price of $0. (The retail price of StarOffice 8 is $69.95.)
  • Spyware Doctor - keep our browsing habits and financial details safe from adware and spyware.
  • Picasa - Easy to use photo editing and management software. Remove those red eyes before showing the photos to friends and family!
  • Google Photos Screensaver - when you look over to your PC and the screensaver’s running, have a reminder of those happiest moments: set the photos as your screensaver.
  • Google Talk - easy to use and fast, Google Talk smoothly integrates with Google Mail in more ways than one and is essential for every user; chat with your buddies when they come online to check their email (logging in to Google Mail will auto-login to Google Chat) and exchange files quickly and simply.
  • RealPlayer - whether you’re wanting to manage files on, or transfer files to, your media player or view/listen to media on your PC, RealPlayer can handle and has years of development, reliability and being industry-recognised behind it.
Can you really afford to be without Google Pack?

No I cannot go without google pack but still there are some softwares like spyware doctor and norton which are limited for some period after that we have to buy the licence.
Even I am not able to know where are softwares and setup files are saved, so that we can again install in other PC but google directly install that in program files instead of given setup file or exe.
Please help me if you know something about this.
Regards
Selena
