The site which caught my attention most first was E-Refrigeration due to a different, and interesting, topic compared to the usual medical/pharmacy/myspace/arcade sites which people are producing these days.
While the content is not completely unique, it is a great collection of articles with unique content added in which complements it well. It is also an example of what can be done with Joomla. The URLs are “clean” and (at the time of writing) mostly easy-to-remember (only a few “content/view/xxx/xxx” URLs). Navigation is easy, as all documents are neatly linked on the left column so it’s impossible to get lost when browsing the site.
The design and colours suit the topic well, making it a comfortable site to read.
Unfortunately, something else which quickly caught my attention, too, is the Adsense violation (an arrow pointing to the Ad Link Unit).. I hope for the publisher’s sake he changes it shortly.
Otherwise, E-Refrigeration.com is a great site which I recommend reading if you have an interest in technology.
