Book Review: Aggressor (Andy McNab)

Another work of genius from Andy McNab DCM MM. Not only is he a true English hero and perhaps the most famous SAS member ever, but he is also one of the best English authors of the past few hundred years. He’s personally my favourite author of all time, but anyway … on to his latest book in the Nick Stone series:

Nick’s adventure this time starts out in sunny Australia … he’s finally left behind his life as a deniable operator and living a happy life, for once. He’s met a lovely German girl and it seems life is no longer full of the twists and turns it used to be … until he visits an old friend.

He finds himself chasing after a friend, Charlie, across the world and going on a "last mission" with a former SAS buddy. Everything seems simple enough, until the operation itself and events take a turn for the worse. Will Nick Stone and disco-hands Charlie manage to survive? Or are they in it too deep this time?

Like all of McNab’s other books, I had a hard time putting this one down. It was an exciting read, full of non-stop action … I won’t write any more as I don’t want to spoil the book for you. Why not check out more reviews of Aggressor?
