I remember when Amit first started making this directory and my feedback was make it stand out and offer something different.

Gone are the development days, Business Directory Global Internet Index has exploded on to the scene offering not only an authoritative directory but also packed with information, advice and downloads. Most certainly more is on offer, the site is definitely standing out from the crowd.

What is on offer?

First off, Free Wordpress Themes are on offer and these are some of the best quality ones I’ve seen – I particularly liked the Cool Blue theme! The theme actually in use is very cool; the pink and blue makes it look very cool. If those themes do not take your fancy then you can always request a custom theme from GII.

Next up is advice and reviews on Web Hosting, so for those of you looking for your first host and are having trouble understanding all the terminology, you will find easy to understand explanations which should guide you through choosing you host. For those people looking for a new host and need some trusted opinions you can’t go wrong by taking a read through the informative reviews on offer there. More are being added as GII’s techs test out hosts and report back.

My favourite part of GII, though, has to be the Search Engine Optimization articles. They’re easy to read as explanations are included to ensure the reader does not get lost. Certainly anyone just starting out with SEO, or is just curious what it’s all about, should start here. Like other parts of the site, it’s regularly updated so check back every few days or add its RSS feed to your favourite news reader.

Amit certainly has delivered something different. There are few directories worth visiting on a regular basis. This one is. So yes, it’s the Next Big Thing. ;-)
