All The Fuss About 06-06-2006

The media likes to create hype as it sells papers, get viewers and listeners. Now they’re hyping a date, a number and religions would like us to believe it has evil connotations. A date that is 06/06/2006 AD, not 06/06/6 AD, but 2006 AD: 662006…

It’s not just a date for the media to cash in on, other people are too, such as the entertainingly named village Hell in Michigan, USA.

I honestly don’t see what all the fuss is about.

To me, it’s just another day… "Just A Perfect Day" (as Lou Reed sang). Nothing bad happened - well, while driving to work a friend was attacked by a coke can (!), but that was funny rather than bad (at least to me anyway).
