Whether this is really an assignment someone wrote about Oedipus and handed in for marking, or just a joke, I do not know. However, regardless of that, the essay is very funny and at the same time clever. :)

It’s an interesting spin on Oedipus, a mythical Greek lad who killed his father then married his mother. What the lecturer did not realise when marking the assignment is that “the end” was (most likely) a reference to a song by The Doors.

An excellent essay, perhaps unconventional but obviously written by someone with great talent and a twisted, but fun, sense of humour.
